108 degrees over here.

So if you haven’t heard, it snowed a lot over here. I would guess nearly a foot in the last week. I spent my time last night shoveling snow so that I, my roommate, and neighbors might get out of the house today. It helped a little but we had about 4 inches after I finished. But I think it helped.  I had my roommate take this picture to show how I was shoveling. I was down to my t shirt within 10 minutes of shoveling.
For those of you who have read the twilight saga, my friends who have read it call me a werewolf. Because apparently in the movie the girl and a werewolf fall in some water our something, and she is freezing so the werewolf tells her 108 degrees over here. Apparently werewolves have a higher body temp, and I radiate heat and have on more than one ocasion have been used to keep people warm when the church or classrooms are cold.  I feel a little used.  I do have more to report later, but I need to take done pictures.

Week in a box.

I’m not fond of nut shells so were going with box.  My suit that I have been waiting for for two months finally came in at bartels and they said they’d have it shipped by this last wednesday. So I was really hoping that it would be here by church today but it wasn’t. I was a little sad  but I got over it.

I’m still waiting on grad school acceptance, and I’m still elders quorum president.  The most exciting thing to happen was I received my new broom head in the mail and christened it “ignus.” And finally we won our curling match 12-5. It was an okay end to the week.

Latest curling matches

So I helped a team out with a game and assisted them to a 20-0 victory. Then directly after, our team the ice climbers, won our match 13-8. I’ve really enjoyed this season, even though I broke my broom half way through and am still waiting on the repairs. They shipped it out the middle of last week, so hopefully it gets here for our next game.

It has been called a bro-mance

So I am extremley excited for the next installment of x-men movies.  I just recently saw the trailer and finally my favorite superhero in the entire world is finally going to make it to the silver screen.  Yes that is true, Alex Summers (aka Havok), is going to be in the new movie.  Yes he is Cyclops brother but he is less of a jerk and more powerful at the same time.  Which is win win for me.  I’m actually thinking I need to dress up for the premier.  So here are the costume choices.

The original X-factor look:

The Old X-men look:

And the New Xmen look:

What do you think?  I’m also not sure how to get the glow.  I was thinking Small LEDs but I don’t think it will give it the right look.
